Great selection!
Thank you Sue!
Jeff I’m not usually a fan of black and white photos being a bit like a magpie and loving anything shiny and bright. For these beautiful photos I make an exception.
Thank you Sue. Sometimes the brightest, most colorful photos make the best black and white 🙂
Really lovely look at Burma, Jeff. While I found every photo a work of art, the first one of the captain really drew me in. And the third from the last, the family on the train, was also stunning with the mirrored feet.
Thank you Jet. The boat captain was unposed. He just floated by us looking just like that! I was aiming at the boy on the other shot and noticed the feet after the fact. It is better to be lucky than good I think.
I love the way in which black and white shows up detail and hides clutter
Agreed. It makes everything simpler.
Great Photos
Thank you!
Do all the women there wear only beautiful dresses, or is that just what you have photographed?
Almost all of them wear the beautiful dresses. There are almost no shorts or jeans.
These photos are exquisite Jeff. I especially like the vendor on the train and monk lighting candles. Just curious about how you approach people when taking photos. Was the monk aware that he was being photographed?
Caroline, I am not sure if he noticed or not. There was a holiday at the temple and there were several thousand people around and almost all were taking selfies!
I prefer candid shots so I tend not to ask and then smile and engage later.
Yeah, wow. Every one a winner. Truly fabulous Jeff.
