Hi, my name is Jeff Bell, and I am a travelaholic. I made my first overseas trip in September 2001 when I went to Europe for two months. I have been addicted ever since.
For the last 13 years, along with my wife, I have been working summers in Alaska and traveling in the offseason. We travel cheaply and independently, usually to 3rd world countries, where we can stretch our money.
Right now I work summers in Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska, and spend winters in Bangkok, Thailand.
My wife Kristi moved to Alaska with me the day after our wedding and despite her girly nature, is a great traveler. Although her preferred travel environment would be a cruise ship, Kristi Bell has not only survived camping in Botswana, hiking in the Sahara and squat toilets in China, but she has excelled as a traveler and has been a valuable partner to me. She proved her worth as a traveler early on our first journey together to China, where she pantomimed “wine” and “pillow-cases” and successfully obtained for us two much needed items.
