What a wonderful collection of stunning photographs Jeff. I want to come to Alaska so you can teach me! If nothing else I need to get out more at sunrise and sunset!

The spectacular nature in Alaska does draw me out of the house, especially at sunset, when I’d otherwise be relaxing indoors. Yes, swing up to Glacier Bay next summer if you spend it in Canada.

Wow, Jeff, these are amazing from R to V! Note to readers: you MUST open these up to full-size; they are a beautiful gallery but even more awesome close-up!

I have to agree with others. And right…full size is where it’s at with these. You’ve outPlanet Belled yourself here. Yeah, the skies are stunning. But the bee on the flower is my fav. And the green leaves/white flower one–don’t ask why. Just is. Do they really have a Johns Hopkins glacier? I thought about going to JH University. Didn’t.

Thank you. The macro lens is fun, but I either need to use it more or sell it! It takes a lot of patience to really use it right.

Such amazing beauty! Quite the contrast for where your next adventure will be! Impossible to pick a favorite!

Thank you Laura. I went out with my camera for the first time today and it was weird being in small alleys and busy streets after Alaska. Certainly a different kind of eye is needed. How are the fall colors this year?

I doubt they’ll be too spectacular. We’re having quite a drought this year. So bad, both of my ponds went dry. Not good for foliage!

That is a bummer! You should be at peak colors right now if I’m not mistaken. I was in upper Vermont about 2 years ago to the day and it was pretty awesome.

Now this was very cool ~ the splendid diversity of Alaska’s colors on display. The violets are a perfect finishing touch ~ the Denali Park Village Sunset photo saying the end to a perfect day.

These photos are so beautiful especially in full size. I particularly love the sunsets and the blue iceberg. Your photos are pushing Alaska to the top of my ever expanding places to visit list.
